Dear Colleagues!

The editors of the electronic scientific journal "Philosophical problems of information technology and cyberspace" invites you to submit your works for publication in issue №1 (11), 2016.

Priorities for authors:
  • Publication is free of charge.
  • The issue is indexed by Russian Science Citation Index, EBSCO, UlrichsWeb, CrossRef, ERIH PLUS.
  • Access to the full text is provided by Elibrary, Cyberleninka, and IPRBooks.
  • DOI will be allocated to the articles.

In the last decades, information technologies formed not only a separate science driven part of culture but also the entire ontological and epistemological programs. Nature of information is implemented in cognitive models, communicative processes, and graphic and symbolic systems of reality representation. Wide topical focus of this issue covers the following problems:

  • Computational models of knowledge;
  • Computational epistemology;
  • Informative nature of communication;
  • Computational semantics and global market;
  • Internet of things: a human being in the environment of machine-to-machine connectivity;
  • Social dimension of robotechnics and artificial intelligent systems;
  • Cybernetic foundations of the new anthropology;
  • History of human-computer interfaces evolvement;
  • Textual components of computer virtuality;
  • Philosophical problems of computational linguistics.
  • Social and philosophical aspects of information security

The journal will also publish the results of original researches represented in the form of articles, as well as conferences summaries, reviews of books on philosophy of science and technology, philosophy of consciousness, artificial intelligence methodology, and computational linguistics. Works of both theoretical and practical orientation will be accepted. We are willing to publish polemic articles, interviews and materials of public discussions on the above topics. Normally, the editors do not welcome criticism of the articles published in other journals. Important dates:
  • March 1, 2016 – Call for papers;
  • June 15, 2016  – Last day for articles submission
  • June 28, 2016 through July 04, 2016 – Issue publication and placement in repositories, digital libraries, and databases of science citation.

An author will receive a notice of the results of peers’ reviews within three weeks from the date of the article receipt by the editors. You can find more details on the revision procedure here.

Please notice that the authors are not charged for publication; the journal founder, the Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, will bear all costs of publication and technical expenses.
